Located in the Sunny South West Side of the city OF Duluth, Minnesota, USA in the lively Spirit Valley community, CKN Haus is surrounded by beautiful cliffs and hills that can provide many hours of wilderness exploration right in the city limits. Hike the twenty two mile length of the city along the scenic Historic Skyline Drive. To the West you will find waterfront trails that follow along St.Louis Bay, the Great Northern Railway loading platform and the Willard Munger Paved bike trail that leads South to Gary New Duluth and the Beautiful Jay Cooke state park recreation area. To the North East two miles is busy downtown Duluth area with Canal Park and the Lakewalk which leads to the Scenic North Shore Drive.

Museums include the Duluth Art Institute at the Duluth Depot, the Tweed Museum of Art at the University of Minnesota, Duluth Art Institute and an ecclectic collection of smaller galleries scattered throughout the city.
